Do Poznania wyjechałem już w piątek po południu. W ten wieczór odbywała się impreza "Noc Kupały" , więc odnalezienie się w mieście zajęło mam sporo czasu, a jeszcze więcej czasu pochłonęło mam odnalezienie samochodu i dotarcie na nocleg.
Rano po śniadaniu wyruszamy na lotnisko, gdzie dołącza do nas Olek. Na terminalu robimy jedną dużą paczkę tzn. trupa i nadajemy jako jeden bagaż główny. W końcu zabieramy ekwipunek i prowiant na całe 4 dni pobytu w Norwegii.
In the morning ,after breakfast, we headed to the airport, where Aleksander joined us. We realized that we had to much luggage, so to save money we wrapped our three bags into one with plastic wrap., which we joked resembled a corpse in a movie which had to be discarded. Finally, we took our "dead guy" and food for the whole four days in Norway.
Lot przebiegł bez żadnych zakłóceń. Po 1h30min byliśmy już w Bergen, które przywitało nas ... Słońcem.
The flight went without any problems. After 1h 30 min we were in Bergen, which welcomed us with ... The Sun.Metodą wiązankową dotarliśmy do centrum miasta, gdzie próbowaliśmy wczuć się w tutejszy klimat. Jednak pogoda nas nie rozpieszczała, a ceny w sklepach wyraźnie podkreślały, że jesteśmy w Norwegii.
After some local transportation adventures we finally reached the center of the town, where we tried to get a feel for the local climate. However, the weather was very pleasant and the prices in the stores clearly emphasized that we were in Norway.
Ruszyliśmy w stronę parku miejskiego w celu rozbicia namiotu. Przypominam, że nasz wyjazd miał charakter niskobudżetowy, więc nawet tanie hostele odpadały.
It was slowly approaching evening--we were reminded by the clock, because the sun had set behind the horizon--but it still was light. This is called a polar day. Because our trip was a low-budget adventure we decided to pitch a tent in the city park (free!) for the night.
W tym miejscu mieliśmy mały problem techniczny tzn. kolega Olek, który pożyczył namiot zapomniał zabrać rurek do namiotu !!! Współczesna inżynieria budownictwa podpowiadała nam, aby utrzymać konstrukcję należy podwiązać linki do drzewa. Namiot stał jak murowany, na głowę nie padało, a ludzie, którzy uprawiali poranny jogging w parku, mieli nie małą zagadkę: co tam stoi pod drzewem ?
At this point, we had a small technical problem i.e. Aleksander forgot to take the frame rods for the tent! Contemporary construction engineering dictated to us to tie the structure to a tree. Surprisingly, the structure was quite strong and withstood a morning rain. The joggers in the park must have wondered at the spectacle that greeted them that morning!
Za to widok z namiotu mieliśmy przepiękny, tzn wprost na jezioro - woda, cisza, spokój.
But the view from the tent was beautiful: directly on the lake - water, peace, peace.
Następnego dnia rano, szybko spakowaliśmy namiot i udaliśmy się na dworzec autobusowy. Tam była toaleta poranna, polskie śniadanie i dalej w drogę.
The next morning, we quickly packed up the tent and went to the bus station. There was a morning toilet , Polish breakfast, and then we continued on the road.
Naszym celem była miejscowość Odda, tuż u stóp lodowca. Our goal was to get to the city of Odda, right at the foot of the glacier. Wet travelled by a comfortable coach along the coast of lakes, forests and other natural wonders of Norwegian nature.

Ostatni odcinek podróży pokonaliśmy dzięki uprzejmości pewnego Norwega, który podwiózł nas najbliżej jak można, do początku szlaku.
The last leg of the journey we concluded courtesy of a Norwegian, who gave us a ride as close as possible to the beginning of the trail.

Żarty się skończyły: w tle widać tory oraz schody, którymi wchodziliśmy dobre 2 godziny, z całym ekwipunkiem na plecach, robiąc zdjęcia i .... wyciskając pot z koszulki.
The jokes are over and it's time to get serious: in the background you can see the tracks and stairs that we had to climb for a good two hours, with all of the equipment on our backs, taking photos and .... squeezing the sweat from our shirts.
Tak mijały nam kolejne godziny wyprawy. So went another hour of our trip.

Exactly at 8.58 p.m. we reached our destination. At this time we were alone.
Zbliżała się pora wieczorowa, więc musieliśmy zacząć szukać miejsca na nocleg. Na górze nie było ani jednego drzewa, więc opcja z namiotem odpadała. Na szczęście znaleźliśmy górską chatkę, która była pusta i mogliśmy skorzystać z gościnności.
Evening was approaching, so we had to start looking for a place to stay. At the top there was not a single tree, so no option of pitching our frameless tent. Luckily we found a mountain hut, which was empty and we were able to take advantage of the hospitality.
Po przespanej, jasnej nocy, zjedliśmy śniadanie i udaliśmy się w drogę powrotną. Wszystko odbyło się dokładnie tak samo, z małą różnicą, że zamiast Norwega, podwiozła nas młoda para z Niemiec do Oddy.
After a clear night, we ate breakfast and went way back. Everything happened exactly the same way, with the small difference that instead of Norwegian, gave us a ride to a young German couple to Odda.
